DESIGN

The Lune Noire Vanity was designed around the intimacy of evening - the quiet rituals that belong only to us. Its graceful silhouette is reimagined through a modern Art Deco lens, balancing sweeping curves with a deep nocturnal palette and restrained moments of gold. Rather than demanding attention, the piece reveals itself slowly, creating a sense of mystery, elegance and presence. It is a vanity designed not simply for reflection, but for the private moments that happen before and after the world is watching.

REFINISH

The finish was developed to capture the depth and atmosphere of night. A rich blue-black satin envelopes the vanity, allowing its sculptural silhouette and carved details to emerge subtly as the light changes. Restrained gold accents trace only select architectural moments, bringing warmth and illumination without overwhelming the form. Against the dark exterior, the preserved warmth of the interior wood creates an unexpected contrast - a quiet reminder of the history held beneath the transformation.

DETAILS

Every detail was chosen to reward a closer look. Sculptural brass pulls echo the sweeping curves of the mirror, while simple brass knobs provide a quieter counterpoint above. Inside the drawers, an ivory Art Deco pattern introduces softness against the nocturnal exterior - a detail revealed only through use. Gold appears sparingly along the mirror’s ornamentation, creating small moments of light rather than decoration for its own sake. Together, these details allow Lune Noire to hold something back, preserving a sense of discovery and privacy.

Nocturnal blue, warm brass, natural wood, and quiet Art Deco details give new presence to her original form - transforming what had been overlooked into something mysterious, intimate, and entirely self-possessed.
