DESIGN
The Marble Fold was designed around the belief that beauty is not something reserved for an audience - it is a practice. By day, it rests as an elegant marble-topped console. With a single movement, it unfolds into a private vanity, transforming everyday rituals into moments of intention. Its restrained palette of hand-painted marble, charcoal, and warm brass creates a sense of refinement without excess, allowing the experience, allowing the experience of using the piece to become part of its design.
REFINISH
The finish was developed to emphasize restraint through contrast rather than ornament. A deep graphic charcoal body creates a calm architectural foundation, while the hand-painted marble surfaces introduce lightness and continuity across the console. Warm brass accents and the hidden Art Deco interior provide moments of discovery revealed only when the piece is opened. A furniture-grade satin topcoat protects every surface while preserving a soft, refined sheen.
DETAILS
Every detail was chosen to elevate the ritual of preparation. Hand-painted marble surfaces frame the workspace, while warm brass hardware and hinges provide subtle contrast against the charcoal finish. Inside, an Art Deco wallpaper transforms the hidden compartment into an unexpected moment of discovery - proof that the spaces seen only by the owner deserve as much attention as those seen by everyone else.
